| Ladonia's Ministries Awana: Awana is an international bible centered children's and youth ministry club that meets during the Fall and Winter months. The goal of Awana is to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him. Awana stands for: A Worker And Not Ashame Awana begins in September and ends in April. Children's Church: Children's Church is held during the Sunday morning worship hour. Children participate in the sanctuary worship until time for the main sermon.When the song "God Is So Good" is played the children K through 4th Grade are invited to attend an age appropriate worship service.The activities include a bible story,discussion and hands on activities that support the bible study. Choir Practice: The Ladonia Praise Singers led by Minister of Music Scott Rhodes invites and welcomes each and everyone to become a member and participate in the choir. Choir practice provides choir members the opportunity to prepare for choral presentation for regular worship services as well as special programs at Easter and Christmas. The choir is a combination of adults and youth a like. Choir practice begins at 8:00 PM EDT...Wednesday evenings. Discipleship Training: Discipleship Taining is held on Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM EDT. Regular and special emphasis classes are provide for Adults and Youths. Preschool and Children age groups are in Team Kid during Discipleship Training. Nursery is provided. Extension Ministry: The Extension Ministry provides a weekly visit and Sunday School literature as well as Home Life and Mature Living for individuals who are not able to attend church services. Wednesday Night Family Supper: This is a time of fellowship before Wednesday night Bible and Prayer meeting. The meals are $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 9 and under. Menus are posted each week in the church bulletin. Reservations can be made by completing the sign-up note in the church bulletin or by contacting the church office...334.298.4587...prior to 4:00 PM EDT on Tuesday. Food Pantry: The Food Pantry Ministry maintains a supply of food for individuals and families who have need of food provisions.The food that is usually available consists of canned goods and non-perishables. This ministry is available upon written referral and by direct contact with the church. Men On Missions: Men On Missions is an organization of dedicated and followers of Christ who participate in programs that meet and serve the teachings of Jesus Christ to help their community and fellow beings. Men On Missions meet the 2nd Sunday of each month at 7:30 AM EDT in the Fellowship Hall. Breakfast is provided for a donation of $3.00. First time visitors the breakfast is no charge. Midweek Prayer Meeting: This is a necessary time...second only to Sunday services...for all members and true followers and those seeking the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to make a special effort to attend. This gathering includes bible exposition and corporate prayer. Service begins at 6:30 PM ESDST...Wednesday evening. Prayer Warriors: This is a most vital part of the church...prayer! Sunday School: Sunday morning bible study which meets at 9:45 AM EDT provides age appropiate bible study classes for all age groups. The classes encourage fellowship,ministry and involvement in addition to bible study. Ladies Ministry: Ladies Ministry is a mission study and action organization for women. The Ladies Ministry meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM EDT in the Fellowship Hall. Women On Mission sponsors special mission prayer and support opportunties such as Kathleen Mallory State Offering,Annie Armstrong Easter Offering For North American Missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering For World Missions. Young At Heart: Young At Heart is a ministry for Senior Adults. It is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month...except for the months of June/July/ August...for which Young At Heart is not active. Young At Heart activities includes covered dish fellowship meals... which are held in Ladonia's Fellowship Hall...special outings to visit local restaurants and points of interest...special speakers on various subjects and a will and desire to serve Jesus Christ and the surrounding communities.
